Building: Residential

Residential Building is a critical component of the construction industry, focusing on the design, construction and maintenance of a wide range of housing types, including single-family homes, multi-family buildings, apartments, condominiums and other residential complexes.

Right from Soilworx’s very beginnings in the mid 80s, we’ve partnered with Residential Builders to help them make their customers’ dream homes a reality. Whether it’s our Brick Sand products with their consistent colour matching, tailored materials like Road Base and Mulch to help with mud control (a common problem with real OH&S issues on site) or our huge range of Builders Hardware, we’re the go-to partner for boutique and some of Victoria’s biggest home builders alike, supplying over 200,000 cubic metres of Sands and Gravels a year alone.

Building: Commercial

Designing, constructing and maintaining structures intended for business, commercial and professional purposes, the Commercial Building sector is a pivotal segment of the construction industry.

With over 500 Tipper trucks available, Soilworx has supplied millions of tonnes of gravels, sands, soils and compactable fill to some of the state’s biggest construction projects like the Metro Tunnel, Docklands High Rise developments, countless commercial factories and estates and even Footscray Football Club oval. Because construction requires good compactable materials for foundations (which can be challenging to source), as well as delivery, we also regularly help our customers source materials like Mud, Stone and Clay.

Whether its Commercial concrete that can handle high levels of structural performance and durability or Residential concrete that needs to provide a durable surface and often incorporate a wide range of decorative finishes to complement a project’s design, concreters around Victoria know they can always rely on Soilworx.

From large commercial developments like warehouses, car parks, roads and new subdivisions, to residential driveways, paths and slabs that underpin a new home, over the years, we’ve delivered millions of tonnes of Gravels that help underpin the foundations of all types of concrete slabs as well as Bulk Sands and associated hardware materials.
