Sales Account Manager
We are looking for a high-energy Key Account Manager to join our growing team.
Earn $90,000 – $120,000 per year plus company car!
Soilworx is a well-respected and successful family business with clear values that create a strong team culture. With forty years of experience, Soilworx is the market leader in landscaping and foundation materials for Victoria’s trade, civil, commercial, and retail sectors.
About you
The ideal candidate we are looking for will lead the relationship growth and penetration strategy of our key customers within Melbourne’s trade, civil and commercial sectors. They should be skilled at building and maintaining relationships with clients and work to provide exceptional customer service to clients.
The ideal candidate will possess a willingness to learn and an innate ability to connect with new customers and close sales. A genuine passion for listening to our customer’s needs, a can-do attitude and displaying empathy is one of your strongest traits. Highly motivated and determined to succeed, with a solid work ethic and customer-first mentality that drives you to exceed targets and achieve success.
In addition to sales skills, the candidate must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with multiple business units and support functions across the Soilworx business. A team player at heart with a strong desire to collaborate with and learn from the existing team of Key Account Managers.
Prior experience in landscaping, building materials and/or sales to the Civil and Construction industry is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and requests in an effective manner.
- Manage a portfolio of accounts.
- Develop positive relationships with clients.
- Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to clients promptly.
Communication:
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and timely communication.
Problem-Solving:
- Proactively identify and resolve client, project, or job performance issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
Contract Renewals:
- Negotiate and manage contract renewals.
Reporting:
- Provide regular reports on client account status to management.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of clients’ projects with products and services Soilworx provides.
Qualifications
- Experience in Sales and Account Management
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
