Kids Play Mulch
Soft Fall or Kids Play Mulch is specially developed for playground surfacing.
This bark complies with all requirements for product certification under AS/NZS 4422; 1996. Soft Fall is clean from contaminants and ‘white wood’, making it safe for use in all play areas.
The preferred product of Local Governments & Schools, Kids Play Mulch is made of clean fresh virgin pine and is safe to handle, providing the ideal impact-absorbing Playground undersurface.
Softfall is tested to Australian Standards under laboratory conditions as required by both standards.
These standards test Kids Play Mulch for use in playgrounds to standard fall heights.
Applications
With particle sizes ranging from 14-20mm, this softfall mulch is an ideal choice for playgrounds, parks, and backyard play areas. It not only enhances the visual appeal of these spaces but also offers excellent drainage, reducing the risk of muddy or slippery surfaces after rain.
Playground surfacing mulch is to be installed at a depth of 300 millimetres to allow for settling and compaction over time in order to meet the minimum Australian Standard of 200 millimetres
