Mushroom Compost

Composed of straw, wood shavings, aged manures, gypsum and a little limestone. SoilWorx mushroom compost is a by-product of the mushroom growing industry. Otherwise known as mushroom mulch, this is mixed with existing or garden soil will increase organic matter levels, improve soil moisture retention, provide a range of nutrient, improve the physical properties of the soil, including its structure, friability and permeability, encourage worms and reduce soil compaction.

Idea use: Garden beds - perfect for roses and edibles

Other info: You cannot plant directly into Mushroom Compost as there is a risk of "burning" plants. Please mix this through existing soil before planting. If you require a planting blend you can use immediately, utilise the SoilWorx Vegie Mix. Not suitable for native gardens.
